In a few weeks I’m taking on the 4 x 4 x 24: running 4 miles every 4 hours, for 24 hours straight. Six runs, no real sleep, and a serious test of how far grit can carry you when your body wants to stop.
But the real reason I’m doing this is the cause behind it. I’m raising money for The FMG Project, a charity that helps disadvantaged young people build confidence, resilience and genuine opportunities through fitness and community. They give young people the kind of support and belief that can change the direction of a life, and that’s worth a few sleepless, aching hours from me.
My target is £100, and every single donation pushes me through the next mile and goes straight to a cause that truly makes a difference. Whatever you can give, thank you, it means more than you know.
